What do you offer for sunrooms?

We are an authorized area distributor for TEMO sunrooms — a manufacturer with more than 55 years in the business — so you get factory-backed engineering and warranty support where that product fits your home. We also install MaestroShield retractable solar, bug, and vinyl screens on pergolas, lanais, and patio openings when you want flexible shade and protection without a full glass enclosure. We can build conventionally framed sunrooms and screened porches when that is the better match for your site and budget.

For structural outdoor work (for example decks, sunrooms, and patio covers), we walk you through what applies in your quote — scope and terminology vary by project. Manufacturer warranties on the materials we install pass through to you alongside our workmanship coverage. Qualifying TEMO sunroom systems carry TEMO’s limited lifetime manufacturer warranty where applicable — separate from coverage on other products (roofing, decking, siding, and so on), each with its own terms. Your quote spells out what applies to your project.

How does warranty work for patio covers, carports, and outdoor structures?

Attached patio covers, carports, pavilions, cabanas, and deck roofs vary in scope — freestanding carports and open shelters are not identical to roof tie-ins — so we do not use one generic promise on the website. Manufacturer warranties on roofing, panels, or other materials often pass through to you where applicable. What applies to your installation, and for how long, is spelled out in your written quote after we review your specific structure and materials. Ask us to walk through it during estimating so you know exactly what you are getting before you approve the job.

We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance on every job and provide proof of insurance with your contract.

Is a building permit required for my project?

When a permit is required by local code, Waterstone will pull it for you. You want this for three reasons: (1) it is the law, (2) it is one of the ways your build is protected, and (3) some homeowners insurance policies will not cover an injury on a structure that was not permitted.

We use trusted, durable lines chosen for Alabama conditions — including TEMO for sunrooms and pergolas (we are a Temo Certified Dealer), MaestroShield retractable exterior screens where that product fits your outdoor living plan, manufacturer-approved roofing systems, and both pressure-treated and composite decking options. On every quote, we will spell out exactly which materials we are proposing and why.
